Elkhoully wins opening round of Qatar Digital Motorsports Championship

Ahmed Elkhoully took the top honours in the first round of the Qatar Digital Motorsports Championship on Sunday. Elkhoully, the defending champion, was once again impressive in the virtual race played on Gran Turismo Sport game on PlayStation 4. The event is organised by the Qatar Motor and Motorcycle Federation (QMMF). Elkhoully was dominant throughout the 13-lap virtual race set at Japan’s Fuji International Speedway. In second placed was Sheikh Soud Jassim al-Thani with Hade Ahmed coming third. The opening round saw 12 participants, with seven of them being Qataris. The second round of the championship will be held on Tuesday.   Results
