So, an elderly woman who sells pens on the streets of Pune has gone viral online for her integrity and is winning hearts on the internet.
Shikha Rathi, who is an entrepreneur by profession, took to Instagram to share a smiling picture of the elderly woman. Ratan sells pens on MG Road in Pune for a living and refuses to beg as she wants to live her life with respect and integrity. Holding a makeshift basket of different coloured pens in her hand, Ratan’s positivity can be seen from the picture itself. “I don’t want to beg. Please buy, Rs 10,” read a sign on the basket. “Blue colour pens. Thank you. Bless you,” read the sign further.
