Education ministry to investigate complaint about a teacher giving pills to students

The Ministry of Education and Higher Education has launched an investigation into a mother’s complaint about a teacher giving some students pills in a private school. “The ministry notes that it started the investigation as soon as it received a mother’s complaint about a teacher in a private school giving some students pills to take,” the ministy said in a tweet. The Ministry added that it will issue a clarification statement after completing the investigation and stressed its keenness on the safety and health of students and the provision of a safe school environment. تنوّه الوزارة بأنها باشرت التحقيق فور رصدها لشكوى إحدى الأمهات على قيام معلّمة بمدرسة خاصة بإعطاء بعض الطالبات حبوباً لتناولها، وسيصدر بيان توضيحي بهذا الشأن بعد استكمال التحقيق، وتؤكد الوزارة على حرصها على سلامة وصحة أبنائنا الطلبة ، وتوفير البيئة المدرسية الآمنة.
