ED arrests Punjab CM's nephew on charges of money laundering

The Enforcement Directorate has arrested Bhupinder Singh Honey, nephew of Punjab Chief Minister Charanjit Singh Channi, in a money laundering case linked to alleged illegal sand mining in the border state, officials said on February 4.
They said Mr. Honey was arrested under the provisions of the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA) late at night.
Mr. Honey is the son of Channi’s sister-in-law. On January 18, the agency had raided his premises and claimed to have seized about ₹8 crore cash.

Currently, only the services in the 32 series stop at the section of the road adjacent to the Broadway terminus, temporarily closed on account of reconstruction work.
