A structure fire has closed MR15 between Montee Principale and Montee Rouleau in Azilda, officials said Wednesday morning.

“When heading westbound on MR 15 please take the Valleyview Road/Montee Rouleau exit off of MR 15 to avoid being turned around at the fire scene,” Greater Sudbury Police said in a tweet.

Deputy fire chief Jesse Oshell tweeted crews have been working at the scene since 2:30 a.m.

“Home was vacant and exterior operations continue,” Oshell said.

“Please avoid the area this morning as roadway may be closed.”
