Duane "Keffe D" Davis, the man charged in Tupac Shakur's 1996 murder, is set to make his first court appearance Wednesday morning in Las Vegas.
Davis, 60, has been charged with one count of murder with use of a deadly weapon with a gang enhancement. He was arrested on Friday, Sept. 29, shortly after being indicted by a Nevada grand jury.
The rapper was 25 years old when he was killed in a drive-by shooting on the Las Vegas Strip on Sept. 7, 1996. Chief Deputy District Attorney Marc DiGiacomo described Davis as the "on-ground, on-site commander" who "ordered the death" of the hip-hop icon.
