As the Omicron variant surges across the country, people want to know the risk to someone who is vaccinated and boosted. And are vaccinated children safe to go back to school? What's the best way to protect kids under age five, who are too young to be vaccinated? Dr. Lena Wen tackles these questions.

For guidance, I spoke with our expert, CNN Medical Analyst Dr. Leana Wen, who is an emergency physician and professor of health policy and management at the George Washington University Milken Institute School of Public Health.
