Doha Institute holds first TEDx event

Doha: The first TEDx at the Doha Institute for Graduate Studies (DI) on the theme of “Celebrating our Diversity” took place on Thursday, October 21, 2021 at DI main auditorium.

Asmaa Alhamadi was the host of the event that included nine speakers who gave short presentations, all with the theme of inspiring young people to achieve their dreams.

Dean of Student Affairs, Dr Ibrahim Freihat, stressed the importance of organizing such events with universal dimension at the Institute, noting the efforts to generate the conference was important in developing the experience and skills of students and participants through its various activities, which were based on sharing experiences, creative ideas, success stories, launching capacities and disseminating ideas.
