Doha, Qatar: The District 116 Toastmasters Annual Conference, themed “Beyond Words,” held recently at the Pullman Hotel, West Bay, marked a monumental success.
This two-day event united members from across Qatar, featuring competitions, keynote speeches, networking opportunities, and recognition ceremonies.
The conference commenced with a welcome address by DTAC Chair Hissa Al Mohannadi, followed by an inaugural address from Past International President of Toastmasters International, Lark Doley, who set an inspiring tone for the event.
A highlight of the morning was the Banner Parade, led by Mani Roy, showcasing the vibrant and diverse clubs within the district. Chief Guest Munera Al Dosari, a distinguished business leader, delivered an insightful keynote titled “Failures Lead to Success,” motivating the attendees.
Competitions began with the Evaluation Contest chaired by Jithin Joseph Jacob, and continued with the Tamil and Malayalam Speech Contests.
