Diesel price hiked again, no change in petrol rate

Diesel price on September 26 was hiked by 25 paise per litre — the second increase in rates after the State-owned oil firms ended a three-week hiatus in rates following international oil prices surging to their highest since 2018.
Price of diesel was hiked to ₹89.07 per litre in Delhi and to ₹96.68 in Mumbai, according to a price notification of State-owned fuel retailers.
Petrol price was not changed. It costs ₹101.19 a litre in Delhi and ₹107.26 in Mumbai.
