Dheeraj Dhoopar quits Kundali Bhagya, Shakti Arora to replace him?

Dheeraj Dhoopar has reportedly decided to quit Kundali Bhagya. It is being said that actor Shakti Arora will replace him as Karan Luthra in the show.

Kundali Bhagya is one of the most popular shows on Indian TV. The show has been running successfully for five years now on the small screen. TV actor Dheeraj Dhoopar has been associated with the show since its inception. He has been playing the role of Karan Luthra for five years. But now, it seems the actor has decided to move on. As per the latest media report, Dheeraj has decided to quit Kundali Bhagya. Instead of him, Shakti Arora might play Karan now.

According to a Times Of India report, Dheeraj Dhoopar has decided to move on as he wishes to explore new avenues. Say for that matter, Dheeraj's parting with the makers was mutual. And since the makers wanted a popular face to connect with the audiences, they have reportedly roped in Shakti Arora, who is best known for his show Meri Aashiqui Tum Se Hi.

"Yes, Dheeraj has decided to move on. It was a fruitful association and a good one as long as it lasted. We wish him good luck in his future endeavours. We are glad to have Shakti on board with us to play the new hero. We are working on the storyline to accommodate the change," a source close to the development informed the publication.

Shakti Arora has been in the telly world for 16 years now. Over the years, he has done shows like Left Righ Left, Yeh Hai Aashiqui, Meri Aashiqui Tum Se Hi, and more. The actor was last seen in Silsila Badalte Rishton Ka. In the show, the actor worked with Aditi Sharma and Drashti Dhami. Shakti was seen as Kunal Malhotra in the show, which ended in 2019. On the personal front, Shakti is married to Neha Saxena.
