Dharmendra says 'chup hoon bimaar nahi', rubbishes hospitalisation rumours

Veteran actor Dharmendra took to social media to dismiss reports of being admitted to a hospital. He asked his fans not to believe false reports.
Veteran Bollywood actor Dharmendra is fine and currently at home. On Monday, June 6, there were rumours that the 86-year-old actor was admitted to Breach Candy Hospital in Mumbai and in a critical state. But, the actor is hale and hearty. Dharmendra took to social media to rubbish reports of him being hospitalised. Earlier on Monday, in an exclusive chat with IndiaToday.in, Bobby Deol shared that Dharmendra was doing well.
Veteran star Dharmendra's son, Bobby Deol quashed the rumours of him being hospitalised. Now, the veteran actor has shared a video with a message for his fans. He assured them that he is fine. He can also be seen singing a song from his film Aya Sawan Jhoom Ke (1969) for his fans and asking them not to believe rumours. "Friends, With Love to you all (sic)," read his caption.
In the video, Dharmendra said, "Hello friends, be positive, think positive, life will be positive. Main chup hoon, bimaar nahi. Anyway, kuch na kuch baat chalti rehti hai, hawa udti rehti hai. Woh tha na mera gaana, 'Bura Mat Suno Bura Mat Dekho Bura Mat Kaho'. Take care, love each other, be good to each other. Okay? Life will be beautiful."
He said that he had been quiet but he was not unwell and ended the video with a kiss to his fans.
A month ago, Dharmendra went to Breach Candy Hospital for a routine check-up. According to sources, the actor had been exercising and subsequently developed back pain. After he returned home, he took to Twitter, and wrote, “Friends, don’t do anything over. I did it and I suffered. A big muscle pull at the back. So I had to visit the hospital. Had great difficulty these past four days. Anyway, I am back with your good wishes and blessings. So, don’t worry. Now I will be very careful."
Dharmendra, is one of the biggest names of Indian cinema. He began his acting career with Arjun Hingorani’s Dil Bhi Tera Hum Bhi Tere in 1960. Some of his most memorable performances include classics such as Sholay, Chupke Chupke, Yaadon Ki Baaraat, Satyakam and Seeta Aur Geeta.
Dharmendra will next be seen in Karan Johar's directorial Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani, alongside Jaya Bachchan, Shabana Azmi, Alia Bhatt and Ranveer Singh.
