Post the success of Pariyerum Perumal, Mari Selvaraj announced that he will be teaming up with Dhanush in his second directorial venture, Karnan. Produced by Kalaipuli S Thanu, under his banner V Creations, this film will address an important social issue similar to the director's debut film.
