West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee said despite repeated appeals for Jagdeep Dhankhar's removal as governor, nothing was done about it.
A day after eight new Governors were appointed by the Central government, West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee on Wednesday said despite appeals for Jagdeep Dhankhar's removal as governor, nothing was done about it. Noting that none of the letters she wrote to PM Narendra Modi evoked any response, Banerjee said, "I have written so many letters to PM. He did not respond. I wrote about changing Governor as well.
