Deputy Prime Minister receives phone call from the US Secretary of State

HE Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, received a phone call Anthony Blinken, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the United States of AmericaDuring the call, they reviewed the latest developments in Palestine.The US Secretary of State thanked Qatar for its great efforts in achieving a ceasefire between the Palestine and the Israel, stressing the importance of mobilizing international support for the humanitarian and development efforts in Gaza.He also thanked Qatar for its efforts to establish peace and security in the region, and its role in the Afghan negotiations.For his part, the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, during the call, thanked the United States of America for its support to the Palestinian people, stressing the importance of humanitarian support and encouraging countries to contribute to the reconstruction of Gaza, adding that Qatar will be at the forefront of supporting the brotherly Palestinian people.
