A gig worker has gone viral for his heartbreaking plea that delivery service customers should tip better.
“Yo, I wish people knew what it was like to deliver for Uber Eats, Postmates, DoorDash, all these companies,” Smithson Michael said in the video, uploaded to his TikTok handle @deliveryguy100. “I just spent an hour driving around for a $1.19 tip.” Just a bit more, he goes on, would make a huge difference, at least for his morale.
