Delivery Apps Like Swiggy, Zomato To Collect GST Instead Of Restaurant

Food delivery apps like Zomato and Swiggy - whose services have been critical to millions during the Covid lockdown - must pay GST, or Goods and Services Tax, instead of the restaurant they pick up orders from, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman said Friday evening.
