Delhi: Woman found dead in hotel room in Mahipalpur, police look for her friend

A woman was found murdered in a hotel room in Delhi. Police are now on the lookout for the victim’s friend, who had allegedly booked the hotel room.
A woman was found dead in a hotel room in Mahipalpur area of New Delhi. Police suspect the victim’s friend of murdering the woman and absconding.
The Delhi Police received a call on February 27 about a dead body being found at Hotel Luck Residency in Mahipalpur. DCP South West, along with the team, reached the spot soon.
The police discovered alcohol bottles lying around the room. The spot was examined by crime team experts for further clues.
Meanwhile, the police are looking for the victim’s friend, identified as one Shivam Chauhan. The hotel room where the body was discovered was reportedly booked under Shivan Chauhan’s name.
The police said that further investigation is underway, adding that the accused has been identified and will be nabbed soon.
