Delhi’s winter peak power demand may rise to 5400 MW, surpassing 2019 and 2020

Delhi’s peak power demand for winter in 2021 may surpass the peak demand in two previous years.

Delhi’s winter peak power demand for 2021 may surpass the peak winter demand in the previous two years, according to the BSES spokesperson.

"Delhi’s peak power demand this winter could go upto 5400 MW, surpassing the peak winter demand for both 2019 and 2020. Last year, it peaked at 5021 MW and in 2019 it was 5343," the BSES spokesperson said.
