Accusing the Delhi Police of showing "highhandedness", Mr Ramesh said this reflects the mindset of the Modi government.
The Congress has planned another show of strength by holding protests across the national capital as Congress interim president Sonia Gandhi will appear before the Enforcement Directorate (ED) on Thursday in the National Herald case, party spokesperson Jairam Ramesh claimed that the Delhi Police is preventing the media from entering the Congress party headquarters. मीडिया को कांग्रेस कार्यालय में आने से रोका जा रहा है।किसी भी अन्याय के खिलाफ अहिंसात्मक गांधीवादी ‘सत्याग्रह' हर भारतीय का संवैधानिक अधिकार है। लेकिन सत्ता के अंहकार में मोदी सरकार यह हक़ भी हमसे छिनने की कोशिश कर रही है। यह कांग्रेस पर नहीं भारत के महान लोकतंत्र पर हमला है।
Accusing the Delhi Police of showing "highhandedness", Mr Ramesh said this reflects the mindset of the Modi government.
"From the early hours of this morning the Delhi Police--obviously taking orders from the Union Home Minister--is preventing the media from entering the Congress party headquarters. This high-handedness was only to be expected and reflects the mindset of the Modi Sarkar," he tweeted.
