Delhi Man Robbed Of Rs 75,000 By Man He Met On Dating App

The police have issued an advisory and requested the people to be on alert while using social media apps.

A hairdresser was allegedly beaten up and robbed of Rs 75,000 from his bank account by three men in south Delhi's Sangam Vihar area, police said on Friday.

The victim was befriended by one of the three accused in a dating app, they said.

Deputy Commissioner of Police (south) Ankit Chauhan said that the matter came to the fore on December 11 when a 22-year-old victim informed them about the incident.
