Nineteen people who fell into the well at Lal Patar village in Vidisha district's Ganj Basoda area have been rescued so far.
Ten bodies have been recovered so far in the rescue operation at the site of the tragic incident in Madhya Pradesh where about 30 people fell into a well while trying to rescue a boy. Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan today said those rescued are undergoing treatment for their injuries at hospitals in Vidisha and Basoda. He added that state ministers Vishvas Sarang and Govind Singh Rajput are monitoring the rescue work at the spot and that he is in constant touch with officials and ministers regarding the operation. The Chief Minister announced in a Twitter post that the families of those who died in the incident will be provided a compensation of Rs 5 lakh each. The government will ensure the treatment of those injured and provide each of them with an assistance of Rs 50,000, he added.More Related News
