Davante Adams to make Jets debut vs. Steelers in Week 7 after massive trade
NY Post
Jets fans won’t have to wait long to see Davante Adams’ debut.
Adams is expected to play Sunday against the Steelers – just six days after he was acquired in a trade with the Raiders – interim head coach Jeff Ulbrich revealed.
“I think so,” Ulbrich said.
It’s a dual matter of Adams getting up to speed in the playbook and healing the hamstring injury that caused him to miss the past three games.
He was expected to be a full participant in Tuesday’s walkthrough, which was not open to the media.
“That’s a challenge for (play-caller) Todd Downing and the offensive staff, getting him up to speed as fast as possible,” Ulbich said.

It didn’t take long after Adam Fox’s shoulder injury for his absence on the power play to — again — become glaring. The Rangers had just started to make strides with their first unit after struggling to start the year before Fox exited their Nov. 29 loss to the Lightning and didn’t return for a month.
