The government gave financial assistance of Rs 4,12,000 to the family of the Dalit youth who was thrashed to death by a group of men in Rajasthan’s Hanumangarh district on Thursday allegedly over his love affair.
A Dalit youth was allegedly thrashed to death by a group of men in Rajasthan’s Hanumangarh district over his love affair. Three days after the incident, the district collector and superintendent of police met the victim's family on Sunday and provided financial assistance of Rs 4,12,000.
A video had gone viral, in which some men were seen thrashing the Dalit young man with sticks. He was brutally beaten and after his death, his body was thrown in front of his house on Thursday.
