London police are investigating after a pedestrian was struck by a vehicle and taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries on Monday evening.
The crash happened at around 5:15 p.m. in the area of Wharncliffe Road North and Oxford Street West. The driver involved remained on the scene, police said.
The investigation is ongoing.
Police are asking anyone who was in the area between 5 and 5:30 p.m. and may have witnessed the crash or has video footage of it to contact them.
