Covid-19 lockdown: Volkswagen extends vehicle service, warranty period for select customers till June 30

For the Volkswagen customers with car services due between April 1, 2021, and May 31, 2021, the same have been extended till June 30, 2021.

In view of the lockdown imposed in several parts of the country due to the second wave of the Covid-19 pandemic, Volkswagen Passenger Cars India has extended the vehicle service and warranty period for select customers till June 30, 2021. According to the automaker, for the customers with car services due between April 1, 2021, and May 31, 2021, the same have been extended till June 30, 2021. If a car's two-year standard car warranty is expiring in April 2021 and May 2021, the customers can purchase the extended warranty till June 30, 2021. "All existing customers who have already availed extended warranty and whose extended warranty period is due to expire between April 15, 2021, and May 31, 2021, could report to our authorised workshops till June 30, 2021, for any repairs under the extended warranty policy," Volkswagen Passenger Cars India said.
