CHANDIGARH: Bars and pubs will reopen across Punjab from Thursday (July 1, 2021) as part of the new relaxations announced by the state government in view of improving the COVID-19 situation. Through an official notification issued earlier, the Punjab government had extended the COVID-19 lockdown in the state till July 10. However, it also announced some relaxation in the state from Thursday. As per the latest unlock guidelines, the bars and pubs will remain open at 50 per cent capacity beginning from today. The state government also warned about the rising cases of Delta variant and urged people to follow COVID appropriate behaviour.More Related News
