Cops summon 10 more in Kolkata vaccination scam, recover stamps of govt departments

The accused, Debanjan Deb, told police that he had written to Serum Institute demanding Covidshield vaccines. Cops, however, are verifying this claim.

A day after Kolkata Police arrested three more people in connection to the vaccine scam case in Kolkata, the primary accused Debanjan Deb's present and ex-staffers are being examined. Cops have summoned 10 more people for questioning. While questioning Deb, police found out he used to write letters to various government agencies, put receipt stamps on those letters to convince the victims. He, however, wrote the responses all by himself. One such letter was shared by his personal security guard, who he had hired.
