Cops identify suspect, victim in brutal NYC nursing home murder

The octogenarian who allegedly fatally beat his elderly neighbor in a Bronx nursing home has been identified.

Clifton Bourne, 87, has been charged with murder in the Friday night death of Lloyd Godfrey, 83, in his room at Pinnacle Multicare Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Co-Op City, cops said. Godfrey died after allegedly being brutally assaulted by Bourne, who was taken into custody at around 6:30 p.m., police said.
