Congress president Sonia Gandhi has called a Parliament Strategy Group meeting on July 14 amid speculation that the party is likely replace Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury as the party's Lok Sabha leader ahead of the monsoon session of Parliament.
Amid strong likelihood that Congress leader Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury may be replaced as the leader of the party in the Lok Sabha ahead of the monsoon session, party president Sonia Gandhi has called a Parliament Strategy Group meeting on July 14. According to sources, among the key issues to be discussed in the meeting, one is the replacement of the Leader of Opposition. Party leaders Shashi Tharoor, Manish Tewari, Gaurav Gogoi are among the frontrunners for the post, sources said, adding that party whips in the Lok Sabha are also likely to be replaced.More Related News
