Congress to conduct regular training for party workers, launch 'mass agitation on price rise'

It was decided during the CWC meet on Saturday that regular training programmes will be conducted for Congress leaders and workers, party leader KC Venugopal told the media.

The Congress is gearing up to conduct regular training programmes for its leaders and workers, party general secretary (Organisation) KC Venugopal announced on Saturday. He added that these programmes are aimed at making the cadre familiar with the party's ideology and policies.

He also said that "massive training programmes" will be held for leaders and workers "from top to bottom" of the Congress party. Apart from making the cadre familiar with the party's ideology and policies, the training programmes will also deal with issues of grassroots management and "countering government propaganda", Venugopal added.
