Congress leaders condemn Pahalgam terrorist attack, call for unity against terrorism regardless of religion or caste.
The Congress leaders paid a candlelight tribute to those killed in the terrorist attack at Pahalgam in Jammu and Kashmir, in the city on Friday.
They also condemned the attack in the event held in front of Congress Bhavana at Mallikatta.
Speaking on the occasion former Minister B. Ramanath Rai said that the killing has hit the social harmony. All should unitedly fight against terrorism.
K. Harish Kumar, president, Dakshina Kannada Congress Committee said that terrorism knew no religion and caste. There is a need to curb it at any cost.

After more-than-two-year wait, the flyover at Goripalayam junction will be commissioned on Saturday. As of now, the main arm of the new flyover, named after freedom fighter Netaji Subash Chandra Bose, will help to decongest vehicular movement from Tamukkam junction till Nelpettai junction on East Veli Street.
