Confusion for Noida RWAs as civic bodies make different rules for oxygen supply to Covid isolation centres
India Today
Confusion has gripped Noida RWAs as civic bodies form different rules for the supply of oxygen to Covid isolation centres.
As apartment blocks in satellite cities are becoming coronavirus hotspots, resident associations are struggling to operate isolation centres within their premises as the three authorities of Gautam Budh Nagar - Noida, Greater Noida, and Yamuna authority, have different rules for oxygen supply. While Noida, in a meeting with RWAs, assured of oxygen supply to their isolation facilities, Greater Noida has asked the RWAs to pay the transportation charges for refilling from Haridwar in Uttarakhand and the Yamuna authority has not had any communication regarding this with the residents. At a meeting with Noida RWAs, CEO Ruth Maheshwari said, "We will provide oxygen refiling for RWAs for their isolation centres, but we will not open a centre for that. We will provide refiling as per the demands."More Related News
