Concerns Grow As Delta Variant Infects Vaccinated People

Health experts are raising alarm about the COVID-19 Delta variant as cases of it are documented in fully vaccinated people.

Over the past week, new COVID cases are up more than 9 percent across the country,  as vaccine hesitancy remains high, mask mandates ease and the Delta variant spreads. "The best defense against these variants is to get vaccinated," President Biden said. President Biden, fell just short of his goal to get 70 percent of eligible adults vaccinated by this holiday weekend.
