Complete teacher promotions, transfers by June, says Jagan

Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy has instructed the officials of the Education Department to complete the process of promotions and transfers of teachers by June and implement reforms in tune with the National Education Policy (NEP).
At a review meeting on school education on Thursday, Mr. Jagan Mohan Reddy insisted that the stipulated teacher–student ratio should be maintained and capabilities of the teachers improved, and priority given to digital learning for students of classes 8, 9 and 10.
