Fox News
Indian-American comedian Zarna Garg shares her journey from refusing an arranged marriage at 14 to eventually finding success through comedy and resilience.
Kayla Bailey is an associate editor for the Flash & Culture team on Fox News Digital.
The stand-up comedian got deep with Fox News' Brian Kilmeade regarding her estranged relationship with her father, detailing the difficult situation on an episode of "The Brian Kilmeade Show." She frequently writes about comedy, government policy, the global economy, and other political subjects for Fox News.
"My dad was like, 'Listen, if you don't want to get married, you can't live here.' He thought he would scare me into submission and I thought he would come around. See, I thought, he's riddled with grief because his wife has just died, my mom. And that he's going to come around and this is all going to be okay. We were basically in a face-off," the comedian said Thursday. Kayla began her career at Fox Digital as a college associate and later went on to become a full-time employee in May 2022. Kayla graduated from SUNY Brockport in 2022 with a B.A. in Communications and a minor in Journalism and Broadcasting. Story tips and ideas can be sent to kayla.bailey@FOX.com.
