
Colorado woman, 26, dies after 500-foot fall while free solo climbing at Rocky Mountain National Park

A Colorado woman who was free solo climbing a ridge at Rocky Mountain National Park on Sunday was killed after an approximate 500-foot fall on the east side of the park.
The ridge is located on Ypsilon Mountain on the east side of the park. Julia Musto is a reporter for Fox News and Fox Business Digital.
A 27-year-old man – also from Boulder – who was climbing with the woman, notified park rangers of her fall via cell phone.
