The Colonial Pipeline communication system went down Tuesday, nearly a week after the fuel company recovered from a crippling cyberattack that sparked panic buying and gas shortages.
The company confirmed in a statement that it was experiencing system outages, leaving shippers unable to plan fuel shipments It remains unclear what caused the issue, but Colonial said barrels are continuing to flow on the line despite the downed system.
