Andhra Pradesh CM Naidu urges expansion of the Sanjeevani Project for improved public health monitoring and awareness statewide.
Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu has asked the Medical & Health Department (M&HD) to expand the Sanjeevani Project, which is designed to monitor the public health data in the State.
Addressing a review meeting on Wednesday, Mr. Naidu said the project had been launched as a pilot in Chittoor district and it should be expanded throughout the State to achieve better public health outcomes.
He suggested that advanced technologies should be leveraged to provide quality medical services.
The Sanjeevani project must cater to everyone, from infants to the elderly, he said and wanted a Nutrition app to be developed.
The Chief Minister told the officials to accurately assess community health parameters by conducting sample surveys from time to time.
Data must be compiled on conditions such as anaemia, cardiac issues, diabetes and kidney and liver diseases, Mr, Naidu said, while proposing constituency-level task forces for spreading health awareness.

Netflix announced that its acclaimed police procedural series Kohrra will return for a second season on February 11. After a critically acclaimed first season that was widely praised for its nuanced character-driven storytelling, the new instalment promises a fresh investigation set once again against Punjab’s bleak, wintry landscape, where silences often reveal more than confessions. ‘Kohrra’ Season 2 follows the sharp-witted assistant Sub-Inspector Amarpal Garundi, played by Barun Sobti, as he steps into the hot seat at the Dalerpura Police Station, teaming up with the fierce Dhanwant Kaur, played by Mona Singh.
