Drivers scrambled to grab whatever cash they could get their hands on after bags of money fell out of an armored truck on a Southern California freeway in the United States on Friday.

According to authorities, the incident took place at 9:15 am as the armoured truck was heading from San Diego to an office of the Federal Deposit Insurance Corp. Several bags in the truck broke open, littering the major road in Southern California’s Carlsbad with currency notes.
