Doha, Qatar: The Class of 2029 has embarked on its academic journey at Northwestern University in Qatar, already making its presence felt across campus.
Embodying the university values of excellence, community, collaboration, and sustainability, the new class brings fresh perspectives and energy that are enriching classroom discussions, campus life, and beyond.
With 147 students representing 28 nationalities, it is the largest enrolment of new students in Northwestern Qatar’s history.
Qataris continue to make up the largest group of new students, while international enrolment expanded to include, for the first time, students from Niger, Côte d’Ivoire, and Belarus. Together, they add powerful new voices and represent impactful stories of academic excellence to the university’s global community.
“This remarkable class embodies the spirit of our community: dynamic, engaged, and eager to learn from one another,” said Dean and CEO of Northwestern Qatar, Marwan M. Kraidy.
