London: Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces H E Lieutenant General (Pilot) Salem bin Hamad bin Aqeel Al Nabit participated in the opening of Farnborough International Airshow, held in the United Kingdom.
Farnborough International Airshow includes the latest releases in the aerospace, aviation, and defence industries. During the opening, His Excellency was accompanied by a number of Qatari Armed Forces senior officers.
Separately, H E Lieutenant General (Pilot) Al Nabit met with HE British Minister for Defence Procurement and Industry Maria Eagle, on the sidelines of His Excellency’s visit to the Farnborough International Airshow.
During the meeting, the two sides discussed topics of mutual interest and reviewed bilateral military cooperation relations, as well as ways to enhance and develop them.
Several senior officers of the Qatar Armed Forces attended the meeting.
