
Chicago mayor plans to relocate nearly 1,600 migrants from police station to tents before winter

As more migrants arrive in Chicago, Mayor Brandon Johnson has a plan to relocate at least 1,600 of them living in police stations, to massive tents before winter.
Each of the massive tents will be able to hold up to 1,000 migrants, the mayor said, and under his plan the camps will provide meals as well as recreational and educational programming. Greg Wehner is a breaking news reporter for Fox News Digital.
Currently 16 shelters in the city house 13,500 migrants, and more arrive every day.
