Charles Barkley puts Karl-Anthony Towns on the spot with question every fan wants to know
NY Post
Charles Barkley never holds back when he has an opinion, and he might have channeled every Knicks fan when he asked Karl-Anthony Towns one question after the Knicks’ Game 5 win over the Pacers on Thursday night.
During “Inside the NBA” after the game, the Knicks star was sitting down with Ernie Johnson, Kenny Smith, Shaquille O’Neal and Barkley when the latter asked about the fouls Towns always seems to take.
“I gotta say something now, I gotta criticize you,” Barkley started off saying. “Yo man, why you be getting these dumb fouls?”
O’Neal jumped in saying, “I was going to ask the same question.”
“Why do you do that?” Barkley continued.
“God only knows,” Towns replied with a smile and laugh before Barkley continued on his diatribe about Towns’ foul issues.

SAN DIEGO — As you may have seen elsewhere in this newspaper (and also if you haven’t deleted me yet from your social media), I have a book coming out Tuesday called “The Bosses of The Bronx.” Much of it details the 37 years’ worth of antics, winning, losing, winning again and overall mania of George Steinbrenner’s time with the Yankees.

Cade Cunningham, almost inarguably the best player in the East this season, is likely out for the remainder of the regular season. That’s the word out of Detroit following the depressing news that Cunningham punctured a lung when he took a knee to his side Tuesday from Washington’s Tre Johnson while chasing a loose ball.

Wednesday was another positive day at Yankees camp. For the first time since March 6, 2025 — an outing in which he knew “something wasn’t right,” which began a weeks-long saga that ended on the operating table for Tommy John surgery — Gerrit Cole was back on a mound and facing hitters in game action.
