Chamika Karunaratne on India's approach in 1st ODI vs Sri Lanka: We knew they would attack us

Chamika Karunaratne said Sri Lanka were found wanting against a "top team" like India in the first ODI defeat at the R Premadasa Stadium in Colombo on Sunday.

India' attacking approach in the series-opening first ODI was something which Sri Lanka were aware of but couldn't do anything about it, batsman Chamika Karunaratne said on Sunday after his team's 7-wicket defeat in Colombo. India gunned down the target of 263 in just 36.4 overs thanks to top knocks from Shikhar Dhawan (86 not out), Ishan Kishan (59) and Prithvi Shaw (43), with the latter two setting the pace of the chase by attacking right from the word go.
