Centre to seek transfer of Mehbooba Mufti's plea in PMLA case to Supreme Court

The Centre told the Delhi High Court that it would seek the transfer of Mehbooba Mufti's plea challenging a provision of PMLA to the SC.

The Centre told the Delhi High Court that it would seek the transfer of former J&K chief minister Mehbooba Mufti's plea challenging a provision of the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA) to the Supreme Court. Solicitor General Tushar Mehta told the Centre's stand to a bench of Chief Justice D N Patel and Justice Jyoti Singh. The bench adjourned the hearing on Mehbooba Mufti's petition till September 30.
