Doha, Qatar: In a compassionate initiative aimed at supporting the well-being of patients, the Sheikh Abdulla Bin Zaid Al Mahmoud Islamic Cultural Center has organised a series of visits to Muslim patients who do not speak Arabic at Al Wakra Hospital and Hamad General Hospital.
The visits are part of a collaborative programme between the Cultural Center and Hamad Medical Corporation (HMC), which provides the necessary support and facilities through its hospitals to ensure the success of the initiative. The goal is to offer emotional and spiritual support to patients during their time of illness.
Throughout the first half of this year, dozens of patients have benefited from the programme. The initiative includes personal visits by the Center’s outreach team, distribution of informative booklets in multiple languages, and psychological encouragement tailored to patients’ cultural and spiritual needs.
This effort reflects the Center’s ongoing commitment to engaging with non-Arabic-speaking Muslim communities, and highlights its broader mission to deliver educational and cultural outreach across various sectors in Qatar.
