Sheikh Abdulla Bin Zaid Al-Mahmoud Islamic Cultural Center has organised a series of cultural and religious activities this week, attracting strong public participation.  Around 850 worshippers attended the Friday sermon delivered by Sheikh Mohammed Al-Zoubi, who addressed the importance of self-reformation and its positive impact on both individual and community well-being.

As part of its outreach to expatriate communities, the section held a special programme for Malay-speaking students under the title “Give Glad Tidings and Do Not Alienate,” attended by 150 students. 

The sessions focused on wise methods of Islamic outreach and the importance of compassion and kindness in interpersonal dealings.

Field visits were also conducted to Hamad General Hospital and Al Wakra Hospital, highlighting the rights of Muslims towards one another and promoting values of solidarity and empathy. 

In a unique initiative, preachers from the center delivered awareness lectures to inmates at the Central Prison under the theme “Say I Believe in Allah, Then Remain Steadfast,” in coordination with correctional institutions.
