An Ohio jury on Monday found Jacob Bumpass, 35, guilty of abusing a corpse and tampering with evidence in connection with 17-year-old Paige Johnson's disappearance in 2010.
"We are pleased to have been able to bring some semblance of justice to the Johnson family", Clermont County Assistant Prosecutor Clay Tharp said in a Monday statement after the jury reached its decision. The state was able to prove Bumpass was the last person to see Johnson, then the mother of a 2-year-old daughter, alive.
