CBSE, ICSE Class 12th Results: SC asks for redressal mechanism

CBSE, ICSE Class 12th exam results will soon be declared, however, the Supreme Court of India has asked the boards to ensure a grievance redressal mechanism for students who would not be satisfied with their marks.

Even as the CBSE and ICSE submitted their proposed evaluation schemes for Class 12, the Supreme Court has asked them to ensure that grievance redressal mechanisms are put in place. “Last year we were flooded with writ petitions over marks,” commented Justice AM Khanwilkar. The Attorney General has assured the court that its concern will be considered by the board. “We will constitute a committee,” said AG KK Venugopal.
